What are you listening to in 2024 ?

A classic.

@SeaBreeze One of my Steely Dan favorites. If I remember correctly, this is the song I called the radio station when I got home to find out what it was after hearing it in the car. We used to be able to say what time the song played to find out what it was. Don't like the live version as much as the LP version though. Donald Fagen is a Jersey Boy.

The LP versions are almost always better than the Live, IMO. The station I listen to mostly these days is KBCO, and their site has a recently played list that is fairly accurate.

Now with apps like Shazam and Soundhound, I can usually find out the name of a song in seconds. Instrumentals, especially elevator music type songs are harder for them to identify. I haven't listened to mainstream radio in years though. I listened/watched when my son and his constituents deejayed on an interactive radio station. I've found most of my "new" music on TV shows (music supervisors are doing a great job these days) and from YouTube when they auto play songs after ones I pulled up.
