I'm less familiar with jazz than I should be, even though I enjoy it now and then. Timeless music; enjoyed these pieces, but I personally liked the first one best, "Birdland".

Jerry Harrison was a member of The Talking Heads. Sadly he only recorded three albums under his own name, this being the first of them. It's intriguing that this was written and recorded between the TH albums Fear of Music and Remain in Light. The style of music here was developed further on the latter.
