What are YOU listening to in 2025 ?

I play harmonica by ear. I don't read music at all. Some of the greatest composers like Vangelis couldn't read music.

I play in a band called Wandering souls. We have a list of Irish tunes we are playing at a benefit concert in Concord, NH. I don't know Irish tunes - I'm French! So being I play by ear I have to listen to these songs over and over again because they are unfamiliar to me. If I know a song in my head, I can usually translate it on the harmonica.

Some of you may be familiar with some. To name a few.

Dirty Old Town
Blooming Heather
Galway Girl
Galway Shawl
Down by the Water
When I was in the Army there was a guy in our Platoon who played the harmonica and he could put out some tunes .

I never heard of an Irish Harmonica. So I looked one up.

Irish Reels - Harmonica

I'm just curious where and when this occurred? I played a few in the Army 72-75. I started as a 7-year-old. My first song was 'Nobody Knows the Trouble I've seen'.
68 in Nam , Air Cav .

The guy was a great player and we all returned but no internet , etc so no one kept touch .
