I love Johnny Mathis. He could sing the most romantic songs beautifully!Wonderful! Wonderful! - Johnny Mathis
The most lovely voice on him too!I love Johnny Mathis. He could sing the most romantic songs beautifully!
This has nothing to do with Harry Belafonte but banana in the title reminded me of a less serious song written by Bill Anderson. The name of it is "Peel Me a Nanner". It's a humorous song but cute. If you haven't heard it, one version of it is on You Tube by Roy Drusky. I don't know how to transfer songs from You Tube like a lot of you forum members do. That's why I didn't transfer it.Funny how some songs just pop in your head and you have to hear them again...right now
Harry Belafonte - Banana Boat (day-o) [Lyrics]
I'd never heard that song before. That was kind of a bizarre song. I loved Harry Chapin though. He died too soon.nother nanner song
Harry Chapin - Thirty Thousand Pounds of Bananas
I thought of another banana song. I don't know if you've heard it or not and like I said, I don't know how to transfer it from You Tube onto here. The song is "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas". The version I heard was back from 1968. You can find it on You Yube under ...Guy Marks "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas". There's a pretty long introduction before you get to the song. It's kind of a bizarre song also.I'd never heard that song before. That was kind of a bizarre song. I loved Harry Chapin though. He died too soon.
I wasn't familiar with that one. This is the one I knew (it's slow getting started).
this is the version from Sandi Shaw which was the biggest hit.....I wasn't familiar with that one. This is the one I knew (it's slow getting started).
