What are you starting to like less and less the older you get?

By far, physical body aging, looking less attractive, less physically athletically capable, and a long list of usual senior health issues like presbyopia.

Ok, realize that was not the OP's intent, haha. Generally the older I get, the less interested I am in a list of activities younger generations tend to be interested in, especially their media. I would rate as a moron playing Trivial Pursuits.

I keep up with dental. I've already lost two teeth and don't want to lose another. Might end up with partials or worse some day. But I'm kind of with you on the doctors. Go when needed. I don't want to go in just for "check ups" and "yearly lab work." No thanks. I'm not all that worried about that stuff. If I get something or have a major health event, that's essentially the end of me anyway. My only concern would be my animals.
Oh, I'll keep up w/my dental. Just not as often as they want to see me.
My rheumy is about the only one I'll keep up with so I can get my meds.

Gary...Here's the thing about drinking. You have your amateurs and then your professionals. There's all kinds of things you can do with good alcohol. Anyone can drink a few beers, but it takes someone with an imagination to turn a bottle into a real connoisseur's delight. Beer is beer, but alcohol, whatever you like from Rum to Cognac can be turned into a real work of art. Whether it's a 7 & 7 (yuck) to a Long Island Iced Tea or a Manhattan, there's a whole bunch of stuff in between.
No argument on all points
well
Most points
There are some mighty poor beers
My beer of choice right now is Michelob Amberbock

I've never been a fan of beer. And that made things kind of tough when I used to play ball, and go to MLB and collage games.

I've always liked whiskey and rum (not mixed!), and maybe a bourbon now and then. Didn't have to be expensive stuff, I just preferred hard liquor to beer or wine. Basically preferring *absolutely blitzed* to *pretty sloshed*, I guess.

Daily maintenance. Routine tasks have become multi-step affairs, e.g., open toothpaste tube, put toothpaste on toothbrush, I'm sick of this already....

The fact that the simplest errand is such a big deal now. I have to stay home the next day.

How short the days are. My only daily commitment of any note is one hour of exercise. Some days I can't fit it in, even though I don't have much else to do. Likewise housework; vacuuming one room seems huge.

Going out to eat. As I've become older I eat much less and I eat specific foods that are healthy and stomach tolerable. Going out to a restaurant is almost always a waste of money for me, just as soon eat at home.
I don't like to eat out either. Haven't for years. I did go out some when I was younger and kind of miss that. But those were different times.
I'm OK not going to restaurants. Even take out. I just cook at home. Not good at it, but oh well.

2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
3 dashes bitters

Pour the Southern Comfort, sweet vermouth and
bitters into a mixing glass half-filled with
ice cubes. Stir well, and strain into a cocktail
glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve. thumbs up.jpg

Noise, I like it less and less, specifically loud noises, they seem to give me
a touch of anxiety...
This. I can’t stand the sound of traffic when I’m walking.

What I really can‘t stand is going to bed. Sleeping is a major challenge. Not so much getting to sleep, rather staying asleep.
