OK @hearlady & @gruntlabor, I got a question - how do you make fry bread?
Meatloaf baked with enough seasoned tomato sauce that you can put the carrots & cup up potatoes in to bake at the same time. Easy one-pot meal.

Too bad I won't have an opportunity to taste that! I'm not about to cook it, so that's out.Hi One-Eyed Diva, small northern whites, lima, small browns, black-eyed peas, blacks, kidney, pinto, and whatever I can find because I don't like garbanzos, until I get to nine, and I add lentils.. gotta be nine because it's lucky. yum
I'm going to try that. It does sound real good. I think everyone in the family would like it too. Thanks for the info... when baking yeast bread, cut away a chunk of your prepared dough, and toss it in the fridge. Later, even days later, when you want it, add butter or bacon grease to a hot skillet, slice the dough to bread-size thickness and fry it. Very very good..
.. that's so sad! How about a three-bean soup?? Kinda luckyToo bad I won't have an opportunity to taste that! I'm not about to cook it, so that's out.BTW..I love garbanzos, especially in salads.
I don't do much cooking but my son regularly makes what he calls his favorite thing...bean soup and sometimes "just beans". He only eats navy beans so uses them for both recipes. The difference is he doesn't put all the vegetables, which he runs through the food processor, in the "just beans", but I like that best. I've come to enjoy it with a little Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce... that's so sad! How about a three-bean soup??
I love Sweet Baby Rays barbq sauce, too! Especially on Western Ribs....yum!I don't do much cooking but my son regularly makes what he calls his favorite thing...bean soup and sometimes "just beans". I don't eat pork but on the rare occasion when I make chicken, I'll make BBQ chicken. After I stopped eating pork and when I cooked more, I used to make BBQ beef ribs but they were not quite the same. But as we used to say I put a hurtin' on the BBQ pork ribs when I used to cook them. They were so tender and so good.I love Sweet Baby Rays barbq sauce, too! Especially on Western Ribs....yum!
I like raisin bread toast sandwich with toasted walnuts and cream cheese. Yum, makes a nice traveling snack in the car.Recently it has been cheesy eggs with buttered raisin bread toast.
I'm having a bag right now Lee., I'm in a happy place now. It's not really food but potato chips works for me. My sorrows disappear and I am happy.
