What Are Your Favorite Clothes Colors?

I prefer pastels and whites with some brights thrown in for a different look. I dress in summery colors year round because winters here are so long. It lifts my spirits to wear pink in January. My winter coat is black, and my boots and gloves are black so a pink scarf and hat is cheerful. ( But I do like a rich red, green or dark purple accessory sometimes, especially a bag.)

I dress very relaxed and casual/outdoorsey. My pants are usually blue jeans, black or grey cargo pants. Shirts I like teal/green, grey, navy, black, brown, etc. Mostly like natural colors and heather is nice. I don't like reds, pinks, etc.

I love red, especially in the winter. Next favorites are yellow and green. I either wear jeans or drawstring cotton pants. My summer wardrobe is bright linen shirts with various colors of linen pants, mostly white or flax.

A very long time ago a woman came up to me and told me I looked good in a blue shirt because it matches my eyes. I have clung on to that all these years and have mainly stuck with blue shirts. Kind of hokey huh ?

Actually not hokey at all. I read a book years ago that was based on your eye color and what your best colors were. It makes sense that certain colors will intensify and bring out your eye color. I have green eyes, but everyone always thinks they are blue. Guess it's because they are more of a "cool" green as opposed to a "warm" green.

I wear a lot of black and ‘autumnal’ colours with a few animal prints as well, but now my hair is going grey I’m gradually changing to shades of blue, mauve, and burgundy

Unfortunately in London they don't do many
colour choices for men, they, the buyers seem
to think that we only want dark blues or blacks,
for brighter clothes I need to travel somewhere
else to find them.

I have always wondered why this is and I think
it is because the underground makes clothes
very grubby unless you change them daily.

Mike.
