What are your priorities, day to day, or more broadly?

I still work part time so I try to survive that. I like to craft but I'm having terrible trouble with carpel tunnel syndrome. Other than that I'm wondering daily for how many more years my stepfather will ruin my life.
Sorry for what you're going through, Remy. (The F word is family sometimes, isn't it?)

Trying to fight aging with 2 hours a day in the gym, 5 days a week. Next is getting together often with siblings --- we're all getting older and enjoy getting together (with an occasional sibling squabble). Next is travel ---- didn't work out last year, still waiting to see if it's possible this year. And, of course, keeping the wife happy. :)

My back got better so priority #1 is accomplished!🤗

I was exercising yesterday and strained a muscle in my back. I was ok but the weather got really cold and I've stiffened up so much it's hard to walk. The day before, I was exercising to vigorously and accidentally punched myself in the eye. I put Arnica on it really fast and though it's little swollen, it's not black.
My priority at this moment is to recover fast and fully because I have to go out tomorrow and staying in is dangerous to me.
Your home dies sound a dangerous place alright, "what do you think you're unconscious self thought your conscious self had done deserving a smack in the eye" I wonder! :)
Can going out be any safer though, but I can recommend a few things concerning your back, the main one being an overlong sweater or pullover, (wool or one looking like a eoolen garment but made of fine cotton as mine is), so something long in the body so your back can't get cold so easily. I find when mines in the wash I have to be especially careful with my back, and if I can I'll find another similar one soon for those occasions, (who knows they might one day come back into fashion too!).
"Take care"

Thank you I will. My eye is OK to go out. No discoloration. Just a bit puffy in one spot which I will fix with makeup. :ROFLMAO:
Good, do watch out for banana skins on sidewalks though won't you, as Popeye seemed to be plagued with so much, (just watching Popeye inflicting a few black eyes, hence he came to mind :) ).

At the start of the day, attending to my pets is the first item on my agenda. No matter how you feel, animals must be fed and watered.

I start the day by 'harring' into a mirror, if it clouds up then I'm alive, if it doesn't, well there's no point in putting cornflakes into my bowl. :)

When I awake each morning I know the day will confront me with a number of frustrations. My first priority is to get through each one of them without baying disgruntedly at the world from my balcony. My second priority is to find something (anything) worthy of holding my interest and to reap the maximum benefits from it until I put my head down for the night. Had it not been for the Coronavirus keeping me put I'd be much more optimistic.

Here are the views of the Dalai Lama, quote:
"How Dalai Lama prioritizes his life should guide our decisions and choices.

What are the Dalai Lama's commitments in life? According to his website, Dalai Lama has three.

His first commitment is the promotion of human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, and self-discipline. Dalai Lama is committed to promoting essential values that will make us happier.

........he is committed to promoting religious harmony — respect and understanding among different creeds. His holiness wants people to acknowledge that, despite differences, all religions share one purpose: to create better human beings.

Break

The Dalai Lama is concerned with encouraging people to be happy. He is committed to seeking harmony among the various religions. His holiness is also committed to preserving Tibetan language and culture.

But, the order of his commitments is anything but random.

Break

In a self-centered world, it’s unusual for someone to suggest that we should put our personal interests last, not first.

Dalai Lama’s priorities provide a wise vision for the world. He believes that making all human beings happy is more important than any religion or country.

“My motivation is directed towards all sentient beings.” — Dalai Lama
