What books did you like as a kid?

When I was young, my favorite book was 21 balloons.

It's about someone who took a balloon trip and landed on an island with a lot of eccentric characters. It was an escape for me.

I always had something to read before I went to sleep. I tried to pick lighthearted reading. I read Nancy Drew but also books like Pippi Longstocking. I also like Japanese fables.

I loved Nancy Drew and Cherry Ames,and everything Jack London ever wrote (White Fang, Call of the Wild, etc.)

And I've always loved mysteries.

I've loved to read ever since the day I learned to do it in first grade.

Most of Enid Blyton, Hans Christian Andersen and anything to do with th sea.

I loved Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. That described my lifestyle to a T.

Also, Jack Kerouac's On the Road. It inspired me to take a trip around the country when I was about 24 y/o.

Yes I even love Noddy and Big Ears and their friend Golly
I love the Famous Five series by Enid Blyton
I also love the Secret Seven series by Enid Blyton
I love all the Gum Nut Babies books by May Gibbs an Australian authoress
I love the smell of real books....I love the feel of real books....we have a small library here loaded to the gunwales

My favourite book was Heidi. I loved her life with Grandpa in the mountains. I could really understand when she went to the city to live with her aunt and she missed Grandpa, the goats and the mountains.
