For the purpose of this question..you're not allowed a cleaner to do all your cleaning or an odd job man to do all your maintenance , ...you're being given the gift of one person to do one job forever that you do daily or weekly which you hate

So, forever you get to have someone to do the job you hate most... what would it be?

I would have someone wash the dishes... I hate washing dishes, it's the routine of it I hate , so if someone could come and wash my dishes every day I'd be happy...

Ironing my Husbands dress shirts. He refuses to send them out to get done. They have to be perfect and he says I am the only one that knows how to iron. So I would love to teach someone and then hire them. When he worked everyone asked him where he got his shirts done. I even had to show a lawyers wife how to iron. She said "Forget it,as long as I'm alive he'll have to send them out."

In truth, I like doing everything I do, otherwise I don't do it! My bookkeeping can take quite a while, especially around tax time, but it keeps me in better touch with all aspects of my income and outgo, and I'd never trust anyone else to do it.

Cleaning the bathroom.

I don't mind the actual cleaning but I have trouble getting under and behind the fixtures in such a small space.

I really don't understand why streamlined back to wall fixtures are not the norm.

I am going to show this thread to my wife. She has been thinking about letting the housekeeper go and do the housework herself so she has something to do now that she is retired.

I have to go with dusting too, it's a never-ending job where I am, open space area behind me and dust and dirt fly all around on windy days. I would want weekly ceiling to floor dusting, furniture, ceiling fan, tops of woodwork over doorways, tops of doors, picture frames, upper corners of walls/ceilings, etc., etc.

It's a toss up between shoveling snow and cleaning the toilet. :eek:nthego: Snow shoveling probably wins.

I don't mind the daily cleaning or the weekly cleaning..

I get great satisfaction from a cleaning job.

What I hate is the "spring cleaning"

Washing walls, moving furniture, cleaning windows..not just the glass but in the cracks of the facings. etc.

It would be spring cleaning for me.
