They can swim for many miles in frigid waters, because they have a thick layer of insulating fat. They are Man-Eaters, and the only defense for life protection is a
Weatherby .460 Magnum Rifle. They can go for an extended time without food and water, and can consume a 50-pound seal pup at a sitting.
You don't have to feel sorry for the sturdy Polar Bear!

You are so right on that and when they get too old to hunt they will find a garbage dump that humans leave behind as in Churchill, Manitoba.
I'm glad we have some realists on this forum.
