What color are your eyes? Do you wear contacts or eyeglasses etc?

My eyes are blue-gray. My eyes can look blue or gray depending on my clothing. 3 of my children have my eye color. One has brown eyes just like my husband.

I've had cataract surgery on both eyes, not at the same time. I wear reading glasses to read.

I had choices - I could choose between seeing things that are far away perfectly and using reading glasses. Or see close things perfectly and wear glasses to see far away. Or one eye sees far and one near, and hopefully my vision would be perfect.

I was all excited because I hadn't been able to drive because I couldn't see well enough with cataracts. So I chose the far vision would be perfect option.

That was so stupid! Most everything I do requires being able to see close up. I didn't choose the mixed eyes b/c my luck, it wouldn't work.
 

I have brown eyes, have worn glasses since I was about 9 or 10. Tried contact lenses a few times. Couldn't stand the hard ones, shortly after I discovered soft ones, I found out I had glaucoma and cataracts. Two surgeries (one in each eye, several months apart) were performed to correct both conditions at once each time. Afterward, I didn't need glasses again for almost 10 years because she also corrected my distance vision and astigmatism. That started reverting slowly so I've been wearing glasses again for a few years.
