What color are your eyes?

From similar 2022 thread in detail:

What color eyes do you like on a woman or man?

And @squatting dog I absolutely love green eyes...they fascinate me!

My eyes are brown.
One of the weirdest things happened to me about 5-6 years ago. My eye's changed colors from emerald green to a deep blue. Along with that, my eyesight became 20-20 again. (I've had bad eyesight for most of my adult life).
I was thrilled, but, sadly, last year, my eyes returned to the green they were originally and my eyesight went back to crummy and needing glasses. Go figure. No doctor has ever figured it out either.

Over 40 years ago I had a student with bright golden eyes. My ex called them “lion eyes”. They were so striking they didn’t look real. They were mesmerizing. Never have seen that color again. It had to be some kind of rare mutation.

edit: I did some searching, this eye color is called “amber” and it is very rare. The few photos I found were close to that student’s eyes, but not as bright.

A teenage me and girlfriend once argued over which color of eyes was best. I have blue eyes, she, brown. I said blue eyes were best because you could 'sink' into then, where with brown eyes you couldn't get beyond the color. Dumb argument. Ironically, I have both a daughter with pretty blue eyes & a daughter whom has just as pretty 'sink within' brown eyes. :)

BLUE. It's interesting to look back at everyone in your immediate family and the color of their eyes and hair. Sometimes you find yourself wondering how certain things happened.

Both my parents had brown hair and blue eyes. They had 4 children. Three were born with blonde hair and blue eyes (I'm one of them). One was born with red hair and hazel colored eyes. Go figure.

It is interesting. Three grandparents and my father had bright blue eyes, and so do my three children. One grandmother had hazel eyes, and so did my mom, as well as myself. At least I know how I got them. Reminds me of the fruit fly experiment I did in school!
