What country would you move to and why?

If they threw me out, I'd move to Guam. While it is technically still the US, it's different enough to be another land. It's the Las Vegas of the Pacific, with big hotels and full of Asian tourists, yet there still is a small town atmosphere. And the weather is like Hawaii.
My other choice would be a little town outside the base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The weather was excellent. I was stationed there in the 70s.

I know this question is just for fun, and it is silly of me, but I find the question so anxiety producing . Every time I see the thread I think “oh lord, oh lord, where can I go!

I think I am suffering from residual ancestral memories from my ancestors having to leave Ireland to survive. 🤔

I’m with Katlupe - I’m not leaving.

Did you like it? Is it pretty, or just pretty crowded? Are the people friendly?
It’s actually such a tiny place that they gained notoriety by charging to stamp people’s passports so people would stop when traveling through from one country to another. Our tour guide told the story of how it came to be and was funny. We basically were there a hour so had a bathroom break and took a walk.

I don't know why I would have gotten kicked out of Thailand, but if I did, I might move to Vietnam or Cambodia. I lived in Vietnam for a few months back in 1965 and loved it. The big drawback at that time was the war, but that has long since come to an end.
