What Did You Accomplish Today?

It’s Sunday, so not much! I did run my dishwasher, will unload it soon.

Its noon here and I just looked and I’m still in my jammies...that’s rare for me.
 

I washed last nights dishes ( I do it by hand, not big enough load for dishwasher), made breakfast (spanish omelet) and I am eating a big salad now. I did some dusting and I will take it easy now...
 
I always have to accomplish something each day and I'm forever writing lists. I have a plan A list for things I need to get done outside and a plan B list for a rainy miserable day like today. Today I brought up the items I want to put on our porch that have been stored in the basement, Cushions for the porch furniture, A small shelf that I put plants on and a few decorative items, I made out my shopping list and my menu for the week. I've been doing that from my working days rather than come home from work and then first decide what we are going to have for dinner. I also finished putting away the wash and ironed a couple of blouses. I don't think to many people iron anymore.
 
I took the dog for an extra long walk at the park, came home and washed the bathroom floor and washed the rugs. Then I gave the dog a bath and washed all the dog towels and wash cloths involved. Now I'm almost ready to put those towels in the dryer and wash a load of our clothes. I'd like to go out in the yard today and trim some of the tall grasses and weeds around the fence areas, a lot of those turn into those "foxtail" weeds that can be harmful to pets....but not sure I'll get to that today. :yawning:
 
Well it's late at night now...and really I didn't do very much today..aside from the usual chores. I cut back all the ivy around the brick shed door.. cut back a big climbing clematis which was strangling itself,... took delivery of a couple of things. Took some photos.... but basically did very little today.

Hubs did far more than me , worked on a car all day, then he mowed the lawns... and it's his birthday..we were supposed to be going out, but by the time he'd finished, it was too late really... but he doesn't mind, so we'll do something next w/e
 
I mowed and trimmed for about 5 hours today....ahead of another several days of rain coming in tonight. I'm pooped. A few minutes on the computer, then a good shower, and Supper, then I plan to plop down in the recliner and turn the TV on...will probably take a nap.

Absolutely...If I don't accomplish something, I start fretting about everything.

Today I tackled the floors...vacuumed, mopped..the three large rooms..

Moved all the rugs vacuumed both sides before putting them back..

Packed my bag for my Driving Miss Daisy trip for the next two days.

Called my moma (those are long conversations).

Prepared food for my man and my Taco to eat while I'm gone.

Washed a load of clothes. Paid my bills.

I like to be productive..I accomplished that today.:)
 
I got out of bed this morning, some days that is as good as it gets. A lot of rain today and no reason to go out.
 
I planted a lot of the garden, tomatoes, potatoes, greens and BEANS. :eek:nthego: On the couch with a heat pad on my back drinking a brewnski. :yoda:
