What did you buy that turn out to be crummy?

A 1962 Chevy Corvair; went through a quart of oil a week. Also, Sleep Number beds are not worth the money.
I consider the sleep number bed The best bed I ever bought. When I was married, we had a king size sleep number bed and 17 years later when we divorced, he wanted it so I let it go.

I immediately bought myself a queen size sleep number bed where the head went up so when I have a cold and my asthma kicks up, I can sleep sitting up. Those beds literally last forever as long as you can get the parts. The only thing the 17 year-old bed ever needed was a new pump and because of their 20 year warranty we only paid $74 for it. My chiropractor has one that’s 25 years old.

I have a bad back and neck and love that I can adjust it to my body. My new one also once I lay down pumps up around me to support my body.

My son bought Gluten free frozen Italian meatballs (I guess he didn't notice).
Before opening them I told him they should be returned and exchanged for real Italian meatballs. He, in his usual way of avoiding reality, said they put "gluten free" on everything nowadays suggesting that these were ordinary meatballs being advertised to those gluten allergic people. Like an idiot, I went along with that idea.

I think they're made of plastic material based on the texture and the taste.

do you have a consumer law there ?

We have the right to reject items that are not fit for purpose

here's a small part of our consumer law rights..

30-day right to reject:
You have the initial right to reject the faulty item and get a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

  • Beyond 30 days, but within six months:
While the initial 30-day right to reject is gone, the law still presumes the fault was present when you bought it. You can still ask for a repair or replacement.

  • Repair or replacement:
If a repair or replacement is possible, the retailer can choose the option that's cheapest or easiest for them. However, if the repair/replacement is unsuccessful, you can then ask for a refund (full or partial).

I need to check to see what I can do. I know there is something, but don't know much since this is the first appliance we've ever had such a problem with.

I'm ready for another fridge minus the ice maker & water dispenser because I'm not confident that this problem wouldn't show up again in another. Hubby likes the ice & water, I could care less. No problem making cubes ourself. I would just go back & get a water filter that fits on the water tap.
