We had quite a snowfall here last weekend (Friday night into saturday AM). And of course, Saturday was one day I had to be up and out early, as I had a funeral I had to attend and also provide a ride for some other folks. So I shoveled and swept snow away so I could get my car out. I also swore a LOT! YUCK!
Of course, we don't get that much deep snow here, so I (and most others) don't have proper snow gear or boots or anything like that. SO I was out there in my sneakers and sweatpants getting wet and cold. Just about any other day, I would have just stayed inside, but that morning I had to go. At least I didn't fall, which was one of my big worries.
One of my passengers didn't like the way I pulled up to pick her up, so I tried to get closer to the curb and got myself stuck. Fortunately two kind souls saw my plight and came and pushed so I could get out of the ice and snowpile I had slid into.
Not a very good day!
