Oh, where to start...... I just gave away a box of craft projects that I started and abandoned at some stage; hopefully, someone else will enjoy finishing them.
One year, my mother started to knit a muffler for my dad for Christmas. Christmas day came and she only had about a foot done, so she wrapped it up anyway and told him she'd finish it after Christmas. By next Christmas, she had another six inches done and wrapped it up again. Third Christmas, it was about two feet long and was under the tree again. It became a Christmas tradition for her to finish a few rows and wrap it up again. It was pretty pitiful after about 20 years but we always had a good laugh when it made its annual Christmas appearance. P.S., she never finished it. It's still around.
