What did you (wrongly) believe for a long time because you never bothered to rethink it?

My best friend and I went to see the movie Jaws when it was newly released. When it came to the part where the shark is eating his way through the boat and the captain too, my friend turned to me and asked sincerely, "Chic, how do they train the shark to do that?" šŸ¤£ I said, "They don't." And she screamed.
 
so yesterday i was walking with ladies in a walking group do about 2.5-3 miles a day
One reminded us that a specific company was in our neighborhood................................... updating their connections/ cables etc and there would be internet down or intermittent throughout the day.

she asked what we were all doing............ i said i had some items to do online then some other things ....
she got snippy and said "I told u the internet was shut off for repairs .." .. i told her do not use that service and they can only shut off their things not the internet.
she said she disagreed and walked off ...... you can be silly and believe something ( wrongly ) at ANY age ...
