What do you believe came first, the chicken or the egg?

I always thought that the chicken came first, but science says it was the egg. I think it was because of the new dna, can't recall, that was many years ago.

The egg came first! It was laid by a prehistoric bird similar but not exactly the same, as a modern chicken.

It is known as a proto chicken and it laid the egg that hatched the first true chicken (genetic mutation).

For people that believe in God, which I do, the chicken came first according to Genesis 1:20-21 and Matthew 6:26.
I believe on the fifth day God created all winged birds.
