I have tried dry mouth rinses and that just made it worse. I prefer to chew gum or suck on candies to get the juices flowing. At night I keep water by the bed.I know it is from a medication that I take at night. My mouth gets so dry I almost choke. I drink lots of water but then I have to keep getting up during the night to use the bathroom.
Anybody dealt with this? What did you do?
I tried that and it made mine worse.just what I was going to recommend
I take drugs ( prescription) ) that cause dry mouth and this stuff really works.View attachment 475282
There's no "try"ing anything when you're asleep. But you reminded me - Michelle unintentionally woke me up one night while she was shoving a pillow under my chin...to keep my mouth shut.Try not to sleep with your mouth open.
TYWhennI was on an inhaler fit bronchitis, it fave me dry mouth and thrush. I had to rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide and finish with
XyliMelt. You can buy it over the counter. It cost less than $10 and works for hours.
I ordered some lozenges by Biotin. I hope they help. I always have water near me. I worry about getting dehydrated.I have tried dry mouth rinses and that just made it worse. I prefer to chew gum or suck on candies to get the juices flowing. At night I keep water by the bed.
Let me know if the lozenges help. I don't know if they liquid had an alcohol in it or what. It burned my mouth and dried it out worse I felt.I ordered some lozenges by Biotin. I hope they help. I always have water near me. I worry about getting dehydrated.
It's worse at night but I have it much of the day.If it just occurs during the night a few sips of liquid seem to get the juices flowing. I hate to add more medication if it isn't necessary.
