Just finished my last project for the year... my first "coffee table" photo book. Above is the link if you would like to take a look at it. I am now playing with the idea of a journal combined with photos about my late husband. We had lots of summer bike rides (harley) many pictures were taken, lots of memories. I feel a need to do this one before my memory is really too fuzzy to be of any use.

I have made many photo books for other people, they have been perfect gifts for family and friends. During my last move I found several boxes of old photos covered in mildew/mold. Yes... they were stored in the basement. Yes... lesson learned. For the last 12 years my photos (30,000) are stored in my computer and backed up on a storage drive. BUT... so what! Who sees them?

So I ask you... what do you do with all your photos?

Had a look at your coffee table book, it's really beautiful, and I'd love to have something similar using my photos. I have over 70,000 on external HD's... but aside from framing and hanging some, and making videos out of some with the family and me in them.. most of mine are landscape, and it's always been frustrating for me not to know what really to do with them..

After I retired I went through my older photo albums and tossed pictures that I didn't know who they were. We keep ours on the computer and our phones and can look at them any time. We also have a google home that shows one by one a stream of pictures from many different years.

I have a broken down cardboard box of old film photos, that I keep in the closet. They are pics of me , and my family with a lot of people I can't remember who they are. Everybody is happy and smiling- there's also lots of alcohol sitting around in the pics. Years ago, when I bought the film, I also bought those picture albums. I've been promising myself I was going to sort out my pics, and put them in the albums. But I've been real busy the last 50 years.
