What do you have for breakfast?

This morning ..well it was actually closer to lunch..I just had 2 large grapes.. and a slice of very freshly baked bread..

Fiber cereal, sliced strawberries and sliced almonds with skim milk...coffee.
About one day a week Ill have pancake and sausage or biscuit and sausage.

It varies from day to day because I'm busy in the morning after waking up.

DH makes brunch every morning around 11AM. (We don't eat lunch.) Sometimes it's eggs over easy, with a side of bacon, sausage or ham, hash browns, toast, navel orange, banana, OJ and coffee.

Or French toast with real maple syrup and a side of ham, and a orange, OJ and coffee.

Or Pancakes with real maple syrup, eggs and sausage, and a banana, OJ and coffee.

Sometimes it's oatmeal, with cinnamon & sugar with pecans, and toast.

4 pcs bacon - two eggs - sliced (red, yellow, or green) pepper - 1/4 sliced Cucumber same every day. The dogs get one piece
of my bacon so I eat 3 almost forgot fruit smoothy. My wife has the fruit smoothy and bowl oatmeal.
Dinner is protein of some kind and a big salad.

I skip breakfast. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a stack of pancakes, or bacon and eggs with hash browns, but a big breakfast ruins the rest of my day. I know, I know, you are not supposed to skip breakfast, because "it's the most important meal of the day," but it doesn't work like that for me. It may be the most fun meal of the day, and it used to be the meal I most often went to a restaurant for. But those days of such indulgence are in the past. But now this thread is making be hungry for pancakes with maple syrup. However, there is never syrup in the house anymore, and I'm grateful for that.

I switch it up because I like variety.

Most days I have a jumbo egg over easy with roasted red peppers and sautéed mushrooms, a half of a bagel, English muffin, or whole grain toast, half of an avocado, fresh fruit, and a cup of coffee.

One or two days a week I'll have baked oatmeal with coconut, dried cranberries or cherries, pecans, fresh fruit, and coffee. Or cream of buckwheat with fresh fruit, a couple of slices of bacon, fresh fruit, and coffee.

On Sunday I'll have French toast casserole or pancakes with real maple syrup, fresh fruit, half of an avocado, a couple slices of bacon, and coffee.

We alternate, may have cereal and fruit one day, eggs toast and sausage next, oatmeal and fruit next day, pancakes or french toast next day, we always have bananas on hand to eat .

I always have something different for breakfast.. ( brunch because I can't eat as soon as I get up ).. but always brunch begins with a couple of large seedless grapes.. this week it's Black grapes, but usually it's cotton candy grapes..

This morning, along with the grapes I had pancakes

I’m not hungry in the morning. I just have a cup of coffee. For lunch I usually have Greek yogurt with blueberries and walnuts.

This morning, I had 2 large red grapes.. 1/2 a banana on wholemeal toast.. and some Chorizo & gouda cheese rollitos..

It varies. After the inevitable meds, it's often breakfast cereal such as bran flakes, corn flakes, with some mixed fruit like Chilean flame raisins, and pieces of walnut and pecan nuts mixed in. Semi-skimmed milk. Black coffee with 1¾ sugars to follow.

Other days it could be oat porridge with a drizzle of golden syrup. I'm partial to hot buttered crumpets too.

It varies. Today I had a frozen chimichanga. Yesterday it was a couple of pieces of leftover turkey meatloaf.
A couple of scrambled eggs w/lots of butter and a piece of lahvosh the day before that.
I don't know what those foods are! Chimichanga and lahvosh.

One hard boil;ed egg and a good-sized banana. Rarely any lunch, mainly because DH sleeps late, so breakfast is late.
