It's been a crazy past couple of years for all of us and for some a crazy lifetime or many years, it's true. Many good things have happened and some bad. So, what do YOU have to be thankful for Now?

I am thankful for my great pet family, my meager income as opposed to nothing at all, my health is still ok, I have shelter, food, a beater car that just won't quit...lol, a good place to live at, and I will be trying to improve my life in some aspects asap.

How about you??

I’m thankful , for still having my husband with me , after his massive stroke 10yrs ago
i know things will never be the same again, and it is hard work being his sole shadow carer,
but I don’t care, as long as he’s still by my side …….

Yesterday, I had my final examination at Johns Hopkins and my blood shows no signs of infection, meaning that my bout with Encephalitis is over and I was given a clean record. That’s something to be most thankful for. I have been taking two capsules of antibiotics since I left the hospital months ago and now it’s over.

I agree. I had a friend that was diagnosed with lung cancer, Stage 2. Even after the surgeries, the doctor told him that he probably only has 5 good years left, but if he would take the treatments of chemo and radiation, he may live for several more years. He decided to take the treatments and has been doing well, although in the beginning, the chemo was really hard on him. He has a bad day every now and then, but I think it’s more psychological than physical. I think from speaking with him, knowing that he has the cancer depresses him and that’s understandable

Being in a peaceful location, and having some foods I am able to eat.

And having many enjoyable and familiar comfort items, around me, some of which were hand-made (and others were selected )
by loved ones in the far past, and by myself, long ago.

I am also thankful for my useful items, such as my heating pads, and a way to warm them repeatedly.
Very thankful for retaining-regaining some of my vision, and being able to see the moon on clear nights, and birds and other things out my windows.

Thankful for internet access!!!!
