What do you make for dinner?

I am proud to say as an American, I know the difference between Cottage and Shepard Pie. So many do not believe me when I tell them.

I know, I guess because here in the states they always make it with ground beef but call it Shepard, no idea why it began like that here. Not that many people buy lamb unless it's a special occasion. BTW, what I loved most about England was the sausage... OMG to die for. I spent 2 hours in a sausage shop trying to make up my mind there were so many varieties, The owner said "OK Yank, here's another plate of samples for ye, do hope you plan on taking some home though"

yes we do have a myraid of different flavour sausages.. pretty well known for them here...:D

an added part of the sausage store visit I remembered as I was eating dinner.
I guess my face was expressive on which ones I really liked and the keeper says,
Now we aren't going to have the people passing by think a scene from Harry Meets Sally is going on here are we?
I looked at him "I tell you what if any makes me recreate that scene, bag it, I will take the whole lot"
I thought he was going to die laughing. He was a fun man.
