I hate tossing them out when there's more buns left than brats so I only had a toasted hot dog bun for breakfast and then some saltines, a piece of extra sharp cheddar cheese and a can of sardines in mustard sauce for lunch.

Can I go along?I need a nice long vacation on a tropical island where someone is bringing me Margaritas and I am just relaxing either on the beach or at the pool.
I need the son to come help me to get big dog to the groomer. He sheds so much that I can't keep the fur under control. I think the best thing to do is keep him cut short. He is beautiful in a full coat but I just don't have the energy needed for everyday brushing and vacuuming.

I have "planned snacks" - fresh fruit, salads, crackers, piece of cheese, Greek yogurt. Cakes, cookies, high sugar items ARE NOT allowed into the house. With covid, I seldom meet friends for meals or coffee.

Our small Toronto 2 story house is valued at around a million, 2 hundred thousand if it were to be put on the market. A nearby 3 story full renovation sold for 2 point 7 million in June of this year, in just 5 days on the market. As somebody recently said....A million ain't what it used to be. JimB.

I have my own apartment and Social Security pays all I need to live so I would slowly spend my million on enjoyable things and gifts. Cabs as well as AccessARide. Broadway shows. Help with putting me on planes to visit old friends. That kinda stuff. A million would definitely last my whole rest of my life.

We do have a sort of "webchat" here. It's in "Conversations". You can invite anyone to join your group. I think it can be private or open. I haven't been part of one for a long time so I forget how to set it up...but someone here can help you set that up. Let me know if they don't.

re: Jim's Post #39 I am on 2 insulin injections - one in the morning and one (fast acting) for evening meal. The Endroconoligist (sp) indicated that my situation is too complicated to "once/day" injection or "the patch". If there are meals out (lunch/dinner) the amount of insulin is adjusted for "special occasions".
I walk 2 to 3 miles/day (reason for a dog), try to stick to the diabetic diet (ok to have a piece of cake once/week) and try not be stress over things I CAN NOT CONTROL ( I can only control myself - not my children, friends, neighbours or world events).
