What do you see outside your living room window?

Our townhome is in a small section of the complex. The living room happens to face a small but quiet court filled with several mature trees where a few squirrels have their playground. Can be quite entertaining at times watching our furry friends having fun by racing around the property and chasing each other up and down those trees.

7:30 AM on 4.30.20 - What did I see? My daughter's car in the driveway, ever so briefly, then taking off. I put on my mask, ran to open the door, and she was already gone! My phone rang, and she explained that she dropped off the Minute Rice that I had requested weeks ago (It was unavailable then), putting it in my car trunk to keep it out of the rain! Weird times!

I see a "pond" that's what we call it here but it's really a small shallow lake lol and houses and a little snow that fell last night.

Here is Newfoundland Canada
Well hello.. to you in Newfoundland, ... we have quite a few Canadian members, so it's lovely to have another one

Oh that's beautiful- is that where you live?

All I see from window is an empty street except for two parked cars and an upside-down couch somebody tossed out. :(
Yes, thank you Janice. I moved here 49 years ago this coming July. Our courtyard was redone in 2018 and last year the garden committee worked hard to plant these flowers. I hope they grow back again on their own because the ladies have not been outside planting this year.

I mostly look out my back door. Photo below.

Both the orange tree and the key lime are still bearing fruit, the dozen rose bushes on my side yard are in full bloom, the lemon tree is beginning to blossom, our calla lilies just finished, and our front garden is starting to bloom.

We live in the suburbs on less than 1/4 acre, which is more than enough for hubby & me. I grew up on 5 acres, he on 1/2 acre. Neither of us wanted an adult life with hours of yard work each week, so we intentionally bought a good sized house on a small lot.

No regrets.

October 24, 2020.

-12° C this morning.

Here is what we see looking out our living room window. The Canadian Rockies!

Unfortunately, the cloud cover at the peaks never burned off today, so what you can't see is the very peak of the snow-covered jagged, rocky crown (photo centre), which extends well into the cloud cover.

Pure, fresh, clean air, pure spring and mountain water, birds, bears, deer, elk, moose, lakes, rivers, hiking, swimming, boating, hunting, this is our slice of heaven.

Beautiful British Columbia Canada.
