What do you think of all the anti-aging products

But how many people have ended up with blown out knee joints, foot and ankle injuries, wrist or elbow troubles, sciatica, etc. from a history of improper exercise? Moderation is important. Even walking "incorrectly" can have cumulative negative impacts.
I don’t understand your response. Who is advocating improper exercise technique?

Some anti-aging products probably reduce superficial elements of aging but since most aging is the result of genetics and lifestyle over decades, seniors trying to belatedly significantly stem aging effects are likely playing a losing game. Of course, people can use facial/hair makeup too out in public that has value until one is close to a person.

This subject is related to the general subject of aging rates. When I was in high school, those more mature adult looking students tended to have a more active social and dating life while those still appearing like adolescent teenagers, not as much. Science has shown those that age quickly while young, also tend to do so when much older. This person has done little on purpose to slow aging but my lifestyle in hindsight complemented by better genetics may have had an effect. Never nicotine, never much alcohol, ate fewer meals per day with smaller portions, little red meat but much vegetables, protected face wearing hats outdoors, rarely sunburned, very active outdoors.

You said what l was about to say, that it's genetics. My mother had plastic surgery at around 50 and she looked good. At age 76 l never did have surgeryv and l still looked good compared to my mother, In the hospital a nurse said we look like sisters She hated that and said l looked older than her. Whatever, lt really does depend on what eyes you're looking out of and what eyes are looking at you. She was 20 years older tha me.

The ads on YouTube for that stuff are ridiculous. I let some run for the cat sanctuaries.

I don't think much of them. Just moisturizer for dry skin.

Loggers Hand Salve and Coconut Oil seem worthwhile with me.
Those Commercials for Blue pills seem overwhelming!
Sort of like Golden Seal in Hot morning Coffee with cream.
I guess I don't want to apologize for feeling/being/looking so great!

Putting aside my gibberish " comedy " .

As you know collagen is also used for joints , now some say it works others say it does not .

I use collagen and MSM granules and for me they have been huge for my hip arthritis to the point I no longer take any meds and swear by them but again others say no difference .

Simone Biles I am not but over time the pain was reduced a good 90 percent and the 10 percent which is more like discomfort now and then I can live with rather then take meds .

I am not some " Influencer " in fact I can barely put together a coherent paragraph nor am I winning any beauty contest , lol but yes I do like them .

Btw , Do you find collagen gives you nightmares , vivid dreams ?

I take them in am due to this .
I take my vitamins in the morning also. I've never had nightmares due to collagen that I am sure of.

Oh, I take vitamin supplements for bone strength, pre & probiotics, vitamin D3 & K, B12, all while telling myself they're doing for me all their ads promise. (My diet is not very nutritious) An expense down the toilet? 🫤

My routine is cheap, simple, and effective for my face...
I don't use soap on my face...just warm water for cleansing, dry with upwards motion
Small amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and apply in an upward direction (never down)
Drink lots of water and eat healthy.
Some sunshine or salmon for Vitamin D (no sunscreen but that's just me).

The olive oil was my own thought process but I just looked it up to see if anyone else uses this and found AI does:

Yes Olive Oil can be beneficial for your face. It contains several components that provide moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Moisturizing: Olive oil is rich in oleic acid, an emollient that helps to hydrate and seal moisture into the skin. This can be beneficial for dry or dehydrated skin.

Antioxidant: Olive oil contains antioxidants, such as vitamin E and polyphenols, which protect the skin from free radical damage. This can help to reduce signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines.

Anti-inflammatory: Olive oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to soothe and calm irritated skin. This can be beneficial for conditions such as acne and eczema.

How to Use Olive Oil on Face Skin:
As a moisturizer: Apply a small amount of olive oil to your face after cleansing and toning.
As a mask: Mix olive oil with other ingredients, such as honey or yogurt, to create a nourishing face mask.
As a makeup remover: Olive oil can effectively remove makeup, especially waterproof formulas.
Precautions:

Precautions:
Use only extra virgin olive oil, as other types may contain impurities.
Test olive oil on a small area of your skin first to check for any allergic reactions.
Do not use olive oil excessively, as it can clog pores and lead to breakouts.
Consult a dermatologist if you have any skin concerns or before using olive oil on your face.

52 is old?! At 52 I looked in my early forties. No makeup or any other looks improvement. Now at 88, I look 98. :ROFLMAO:
No, Elsie, I didn't mean 52 is old. ;) I think Jennifer Garner could pass for 30. At my age, she would look fine at 52 with or without facial work, but when she's competing with other stars half her age, she does more for her face than applying expensive creams.

Please put your spectacles on:) She is fluffed and puffed.

I'm a man
Oh.
but I can see how you would make that mistake
Then please explain it to me. I don't know why I thought you were a woman. Maybe I should look through the previous posts to find out what gave me that impression. EDIT: I should have understood after your Peter Boyle attachment. My apologies. šŸ˜•
l was at a BBQ yesterday we were speaking about kids and a young woman asked me if giving birth was painful .

I was like what in the world .
Holy ****! That must have been embarrassing for her. I did once ask a fellow when his wife was expecting only to be told she wasn't pregnant. Oooops! Too many double cheeseburgers with cola, I guess.
