What do you think of my cable TV bill?

Have you and your husband tried Sling...I think that has more sports. I tried it, wasn't impressed with their interface nor their HGTV catalog. I couldn't care less about sports so I dropped it.

We checked out Sling, but even with both plans (Orange + Blue), it didn't have enough of the channels my husband likes. The limits they have on how many TVs can stream at once are a little strange. I believe only one can watch the Orange plan, but up to three can watch the Blue plan.

Before we went streaming only, I prepared a spreadsheet with all of the live streaming providers and checked off by channel. Fubo was a contender until seeing that they weren't offering the ESPN channels. I believe they are changing that this month, but I'm sure the price will go up since Disney is now involved. Still, it's worth a look again since we're not locked into a contract. YouTube also didn't have enough of the channels my husband watches.

Hulu fits us the best right now. We can watch on two TVs at once without any additional charge. They have a 50 hour cloudDVR without any additional charge. Upgrades are available to allow more TVs at once and more cloudDVR space, but we don't need them.

Not everything that is free is likeable....lots of free oldies movies, westerns which I don't watch, lots of corny tv shows, kids shows, goofy horror teenage slasher movies, etc....
what? you don't wanna come watch dora the explorer with me?:ROFLMAO:

So now back to the question. What do you think of my cable t.v. bill.

Depending on what you want. Damned expensive.

I just have basic cable. $28.25 a month. It's all I need. They include T.V. on demand so you can also rent a movie or a t.v. show. I don't bother. I can't sit through a movie anymore.

I did without cable, but had internet for awhile. I got Sling with a Firestik and liked it a lot. I had to pay like $5 for each additional channels besides the maybe $45 for Orange and Blue Sling. I didn't rely on what showed on certain days. I could watch any movies, series, cooking shows, etc. anytime I chose. I could pause and come back to it. Could watch news, and others on apps that were free. I have cable now, however. You can get used to whatever you choose to have. And, it was a LOT cheaper!
