What do you think of this fish?

Wonder if this fish has been anywhere near the Japan meltdown?

It's an adaptation that was probably the result of a random mutation but if it enhances survival value it will build up in the population and possibly produce a new 4 eyed species, if that hasn't happened already.

If the mutation works against survival, it will disappear for obvious reasons.
On the other had, if it bestows no particular advantage or disadvantage, the feature will persist in the species as one variation as red hair does among humans.

Ugly doesn't really come into it unless it means that nothing ever wants to eat it.

Oh, I doubt the predators care about it's looks. But those two legged ones might.
