What do you think?

There are those of us who believe in life after death and those of us who don't, I do. My DH died suddenly 6 years ago. Looking back I wonder just how I got through it. Soon after his passing my family held a gathering for our neighbours. There I received a sign , something which would only have meaning for the family, and then two of my neighbours informed me that he had visited them after his passing. For the past 6 years I've had lights flashing periodically in the house, upstairs, downstairs, it was then that I would talk to him, this was a comfort to me. My daughter who lives abroad has also experienced similar happenings. Then one day a few weeks back I realised that these occurrences were not happening any more.
My thoughts are that he stayed around to make sure that I would be okay, and I am, but it has taken a long while. I am happy that he can finally rest in peace and know that one day I will join him.🙏

I believe that our spirits live inter dimensionally. I base this on my own experiences alone. Some people can be conduits, receiving messages continuously from the other side of the dimension their entire lives. It’s like being a radio operator receiving messages from various sources. If you are sensitive, you can pickup messages from anyone. A person’s original body may die but their spirit definitely does not.

I basically believe the same general concept that something... call it our spirit or cosmic consciousness ... transcends our mortal existence. Quantum mechanics has come to agree with Buddhism in the existence of many dimensions residing outside the bounds of Newtonian science.

Yes. This is it exactly.

It seems you have come to terms with your loss and found peace. Just be thankful for that. How you got there doesn't matter.

I had multiples dreams of all my close relatives after they passed. My grandma, mom, dad, aunt and sister.
I was in a deep grief for more than a year after my mom passed. I wasn't able to smile, didn't talk much, and couldn't really focus on things during that period. I went to cathedral a lot, and just sat there.

I’m not religious and am rather scientific but just found an interesting book on consciousness after death. I find it fascinating and it certainly gives me a different perspective on things.

It’s free on Kindle unlimited and is called “what comes next?”

Define what you mean by life after death? If you mean there is a presence after our bodies stop living as we know it, I don't know.

I was brought up in the Church of England by parents who attended every week, so Sunday School, baptism, confirmation etc.
Now I just think it will be the same as it was for all those millions of years before we were born.
