What do YOU want for Christmas???

My suggestion to you would be to look around your house for things that you use everyday that you woulnt mind having an upgrade
but youre too cheap to spend the money on yourself. Stuff like clothing, sheets, towels, pots and pans, toasters, fancy door mats, etc.
Make an Amazon or a Walmart or wherever list so you dont get weird stuff. A lot of us have older stuff. Im guilty. Some of my stuff is from when I first got married.

I found a mule. Might be pregnant. Hard to tell. :D

Edit: They have rechargeable heated gloves.

Thank you for the suggestions. The mule must be alive. I'd want to sell it for big bucks.

Oh my gosh - my mother still had stuff that *looked new* that she had when I was a kid. She took very good care of her things, that's for sure!

Making a wish list is a good idea.

New woman would be fine - Not too old and certainly never too young! a cuddler and nurturer will be fine!

I read somewhere lately that old guys are happier when they are married to women 12 years younger than they are. The benefit for the men is that the woman can function as their caregiver if they get really old and/or really sick.

The problem is that many women do not want to function as caregivers. So you have to be sure you get one who does. OTOH, the ones who don't want to be eventual caregivers will steer clear of that happening to them. They have already got that steering clear at the top of their lists.

Would enjoy a new house plant or two …. and maybe updated pictures of the grandkids.

This year, I want to be left alone with my chicken pot pie and pumpkin pie and I might just watch some Christmas movies this year. I haven't watched any in like 15 to 20 yrs. So we'll see. First tear I shed and it will get changed to something else though.

I want a new sofa with built in recliners and the handle on the side that you pull to recline and pull again to sit upright. I want someone else to do the shopping, install it in my house, and take the old one away.

And as long as I’m dreaming, I want the sofa to have a built in force field that repels cat claws and cat fur.

That's hogwash. The average older man still has the provider instinct. Well, either instinct or brainwashing, but it's deeply ingrained.

My wife is quite a bit younger than me, but when I agreed to marry her, my thought was "I'm gonna help this woman get what she wants out of life." She got to go to college and has an excellent career ahead of her. Plus, she's living comfortably (and, for what it's worth, owns my heart 100%).

Reasonably so.
