What do you wish you didn't know?

Thanks Sea, Forgive my whining, but I've only been out of this log cabin three times since May 1st., and I still have until sometime in October when the heat and Sun lessen. :wave: You gentle people have made this unbearable time less depressing for me. :thankyou:
 

Vivjen, Don't think I haven't thought about it, but there is this stupid stuff called money that seems to be lacking in my pocket for the last six years. Disability won't cover it, and it would likely disappear if I tried. :wave:

Holly, my hubby and I the been together for 47 years, and he wants to stay in our home until he passes, and he is almost 72, I can't bring myself to insist that he leave his comfort area where he know his way around in our neighborhood. I'm 62, 63 in December, and I hope I go first because I don't think I am strong enough to deal with the loneliness with out him.

Stop & consider exactly what it was that originally made the name "Kardashian" famous. It was the family patriarch, being the sleazeball attorney who helped OJ Simpson get away with butchering two people. Fast forward twenty years, & his daughters have parlayed that noteriety into celebrity status & hundreds of millions of dollars.

They are basically living the American dream on the backs of two murder victims, whose killer their father aided & abetted after the fact.

And the rest of them? They sell degenerate smut to teenagers, that is a large part of what is dragging our culture down the toilet.

Personally, I think they are miserable, unhappy people on the inside & I don't think it would be worth it.

One thing I really hate is American programs on the television..we are receiving such gems as ''Hollywood housewives''..basically rich people showing off..Swamp people..men shooting alligators..Mountain men..who shoot everything..

Like I tell our age bracket all the time.........we aren't living back in the Nelson's, Father Knows Best, Lassie and Rin Tin Tin days and there's no way society will ever go back to those old tv days. Most will say "change the station or shut the tv off".

Then, you also don't want to know about all the food, that is ordered by customers, that is thrown away all day! It's unbelievable that a parent will order a large breakfast for their child and a lot of it is thrown away. No "to go box" is even thought of.
