What do you wish you loved instead of dreaded?

I wish I loved housework and cleaning. That way I would look forward to and enjoy what has to be done anyway.

Housework here, too. It is boring and as soon as it is done it needs doing again. I am becoming a great practitioner of procrastination! There's so much I'd rather do -- like watching paint dry, for instance.

I enjoy the results of housework and that helps me to power through.

I wish I enjoyed traveling and socializing, I always seem to get comfortable and start to enjoy myself when it's time to leave!

I'd love to LOVE cooking. I cook, but only because it's necessary to keep from starving to death (too poor to eat out all the time). I used to love to bake and make meals but now it's just a pain in the pot-tootie.

Cleaning and sweeping and dusting I'd just as soon keep up the bad relations with..... No love lost there.

Oh, exercise and going to the gym. Some people there just seem to absolutely love it. Y'know......the "runner's high" and all that. I rank it up there with getting a splinter under my thumbnail. I go because I absolutely HAVE to and, unfortunately, I go as seldom as I can.

Snow shoveling and everything else about winter. I really dread the mindless shoveling, chipping ice, frigid temps etc.

I don't like to travel. All the planning, packing, unpacking, not sleeping well, eating out which begins to all taste the same after awhile and possibly traveling in bad weather doesn't appeal to me. I can sit comfortably in my recliner and watch a travelogue from the library. I dread it when my hubby suggests a road trip.
