What Does It Mean

If a person you don't know starts walking towards you with arms extended and clapping their hand together.
You had me reeled-in hook, line and sinker, Deb, right up to the part where the mentioned the person was clapping their "hand", and that's when I knew you were just pulling our legs!

Never met a person that can clap one hand. :giggle:

All jokes aside, I would say he or she is wingy, had mistaken you for someone they thought they knew, and their outstretched arms along with the clapping was representative of them happy to see you and looking for a hug, or they were a member of this forum and just wanted to get a rise out of you so you'd post about it. :ROFLMAO:

Deb, what happened after he got near you?

If he just left, I’d presume he was annoyed with me for some unknown reason. Also that he’s a little wingy.

I know the sound of one hand clapping.
I don't, but you may not know that the clap, in Brit-speak means a venereal disease. My doctor told me, when I was a teenager, that I had an unsociable disease. "Doctor," I said, "I have never been with anyone, how can it be so?" "Ah," replied the wise doctor, "you have the slow hand clap."
