What fact can you share that not many people would know?

Every day at 11 AM, in the Peace Tower chapel at the Canadian Federal Parliament building in Ottawa, the pages of the seven War Memorial books are all turned one page forward. The seven Memorial books contain the names of 186,890 Canadian military members, who died in military service to Canada from the year 1812 to today. Each page of each book is richly illustrated, with the names, rank, and which military branch that person served in and the place and date of their death. There are Canadian War Graves located in 71 countries, around the world. JIMB.

The Australian ~GIANT ~ Cuttlefish aggregate in the winter waters near Whyalla, South Australia, in numbers not seen anywhere else in the world!

These cuttlefish can weight up to 10 kg and be approx 50 cm long

We've seen them up close as my Hub lived / worked near Whyalla during his apprenticeship years when he was a youngster

Giant Cuttlefish

Neither are Cuttlefish :) @Lawrence00

I copied this ….

cuttlefish are not actually fish. They are a type of cephalopod, which is a group of marine mollusks that also includes squid and octopus.

Specifically, ~ GIANT ~ cuttlefish belong to the order Sepiida, which is distinct from the class of fish.

These fascinating creatures can count, exert self-control, and have numerous wily tactics to evade predators, ~ including creating their own body ~ double from a cloud of ink.
