What games do you play.?

It's a cold wet miserable Thursday, time to get the 'games' out of the cupboard. My first choice of card game is '500', I was taught to play when a teenager. Then there is the board game "Monopoly' , not much fun for one, !
Maybe play 'Patience' with the cards.
What are your 'favourites'.?

Well I'm just recently on my own, so I don't play games at home now...but I always have loved Trivial pursuit, so I have the app on my phone, and play it on silent if I'm sitting in a waiting room somewhere..

other than that I play the word games here on the forum, and have done for the last 9 years , it keeps the brain sharp

I'm playing solitaire on my computer, alternating with a game called Match Town Makeover.
I've gone through numerous types of online games. Word games are among my favourites.

I too play games on my computer, mostly forms of solitaire and SkipBo. With SkipBo you play against other real players or computer-generated ones; I play against the comp.-generated players.

I play free online poker. Matching wits with people from all around the world is a great mental exercise. Plus, it keeps me sharp for when we go to the casino, and I play for real money.

I have mentioned this a couple of times before but I have played MMORPG's for over 20 years ago. What may surprise some is that many players that I run into playing the games are well into their 50's and older. I group up with a couple of people once or twice a week who are in their late 60's. The game I have played the most in the past 15 years is Lord of the Rings Online. I enjoy playing in that world. This picture is one of my many characters standing at the entrance to Minas Tirith. Yup, I am a dork.

I play (unchallenged) Scrabble 3D. You can design your own board, so mine is 21 spaces square and I play with 20 tiles. It's freeware for PC's.

We have played Backgammon since we met.

Main board in the house and one we use outside if the weather is nice.
Our travel board has helped pass the time when stuck at airports and such.

Yea, we're that 'funny' couple you probably saw at an airport, lost in their little world...

I mostly play games on my tablet like Angry Birds 2. I’m even the leader of a “clan” there, which is kind of like a competitive team. To this day, I can never pass a pig farm without experiencing the urge to hurl poultry at them...

The game that I mostly play is "I am a caring sensitive husband." Unfortunately for me, the game my wife plays is "I know you, so don't even start."

Spider solitaire, Golf solitaire, Cruel solitaire, Solitaire, Taipei, Tictac, Sudako, Majong, Woodygammon. All on the computer. Most are M$ games.

...and Syberia... with the ubiquitous Kate walker......I loved them but I suppose in the gaming world they're very old fashioned now..

My favorite games are the ever popular "find what you just had in your hand", and "rub the dogs belly without getting your foot chewed off". Used to play poker a few times a month in the winter when I was on the island, and hand & foot with a large social group once a week, but am home alone now, so generally spend my free tome working in the shop.

I love board games, especially Scrabble. No one to play scrabble with anymore.

On a daily basis I play, Wordle, Quordle, NY Times crossword (only successfully thru Wednesday), NY Times spelling Bee, Spider solitaire, Sudoko.
I did play June's Journey for a few years, but I lost interest recently.

I used to love Trivial Pursuit. I'll have to look for that app.
