What gives your life meaning? What makes you want to live?

Meaning to me is having a brain more than we really need to think to survive and heart feelings more than we need to love. That makes me feel positive about being alive and human despite all the negative stuff.

I just need to look out of the window and see nature coming back to life....blossoms on the trees, birds building nests, everything in bud...makes you glad to be part of all that's living.

I would just say experiencing the wonder of mother nature, the mountains, forests, oceans, wildlife and heavens above. All are beautifully spectacular and put life in perspective, of course, sharing it with my hubby and furbabies makes it that much more rewarding.

The glories of nature
Each day is a new event, never to be repeated
Can’t wait to see the next one
I’d sure hate to miss it

And the greatness of grand beings
Their innocence is so pure, so joyful of simple discoveries
Keeps me hopeful

Other than that, the hope that I can be a positive effect on another fellow being, absolutely drives me

Learning a new skill, and applying it to effectively solve a problem. Being outside on a sunny, clear, cool day, while hiking a trail or roaming around town on errands. In the past: Playing a great gig, putting on a great tattoo.

Family. It's my touchstone, my reason for being, my light.

Family is and always has been the most important thing in my life. It brings me joy and gives me focus. Family isn't just my blood family, it encompasses the family of my heart, too. We are a very close family and always have been, even through some very awful and trying times.

Family gives me a fundamental framework and foundation for all other aspects of my life.

Biggest thing...…..my loving, Christian wife. Other thing......moving the heck out of here, Florida and the South! Going back to where we belong and should have NEVER left……….Colorado.

I don't really think of my life having meaning. I try to keep learning, keep an open mind, be more of a positive influence than negative, try to be caring and loving to those around me, try to see the beauty in the world and all it has to offer. I am fortunate enough to have never really doubted wanting to live. I don't believe there is anything beyond this life so for me there is nothing better (or worse) than being here.

My daughter and 3 grandkids, another on the way, November of this year....no other family than that. Friends who also double as family. My 3 little four legged loves, even days when they're total brats. Mother Nature and all her family she shares, most especially, her feathered jewels.....birds, ducks, geese and the whole 9 yards she has for us. The clear night sky filled with all the stars and dreams, love sitting out and just watching. Last but not least, spending time with all the great people here at SF. 😃😃😃😃😃
