A couple of days ago, the news was reporting about a drunk woman who was driving all over a children's ballpark during a little league game. She hit and killed a 68 yr. old man who was helping coach the game, as he was trying to get some of the kids out of this lunatic drivers path. It turns out, this old guy had himself killed a little 4 yr. old girl in a hit and run while he was drunk.

Sometimes Justice works in mysterious ways.

Yes. The old man made a grave mistake while drunk that he could never fix but to give his life to save a life was beautiful. Good story, Don.

Problem is, karma doesn't seem to be quite fairly distributed, although I wish but it doesn't seem that way. I'm very sure that that man had a very guilty conscience and that made him try to make up for it in giving to the community. I believe he really didn't know for sure what he did that night. If he could have been asked, I think he would have said he would have been glad to have given his life to somehow make up for the life he took. Which apparently he did. Just the fact that he finally admitted that he might have actually hit that four-year-old makes me feel that way.
