What happened to Judas? Heaven, Hell, Limbo? What’s your opinion?

For people of different religions and/or people not acquainted with the Christian Easter story, Judas was the apostle who betrayed JC. JC was an apostle who was personally chosen by JC. Judas left everything behind to follow JC for 3 1/2 years. He saw it all, including the many miracles performed by JC.

After Judas betrayed JC for 30 pieces of silver, which he did not collect, he hung himself out of remorse for his betrayal. Did he go to heaven? Did he go to hell? Did he go to limbo? Most believers believe Judas went straight to hell. Consider this.

John 17:12 (JC speaking of the apostles)
”While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that scripture would be filled.” Wow, I mean wow. The fix was in. If Judas had not betrayed JC, it all might never have happened.

JC knew what was going to happen to him. He knew what the scripture was going to say before it was written. He knew who was going to betray him, before the betrayal. He knew the story, but Judas did not. Was Judas the patsy of God the Father. Seems like it. Judas played his part perfectly and had the good grace to exit before he could be questioned as to his motives.

Judas obviously believed in JC. Was he forgiven? Most people judge no and consign him to hell for the betrayal not the suicide. Judas committed suicide because he was upset over the betrayal. Round and round it goes.

JC commands judge not, less ye be judged. I prefer to believe Judas went straight to Heaven, his reward for fulfilling the plan of God the Father. But, then again, who am I to judge. It’s just my opinion.

If there was such as thing as heaven and hell, I agree with you, Judas should have gone to heaven, as he was a tormented soul who was given little choice by God. He had to betray Jesus, it was part of the plan.

But there isn't, and there wasn't, so he didn't. He just died.
