What have you bought recently?

Extravagant in the extreme, I was unable to convince myself I didn't want this. Price wise it makes no sense whatsoever, and there's no justifying it. But it's a masterwork of a genius, and well...... it's arrived.........

I spent money. I had no idea there was a "reduced" section in our meat department but heard an announcement over the PA to check out the bargains. I've been there two years and didn't know. Duh. I looked and found a package of 10 boneless pork chops for $6. Yes. They're in the freezer for the next time DS visits. DD doesn't like pork chops. DS/DSIL like pork chops. They're getting pork chops.

Pork chops is my very favorite. I'm jealous!

I bought myself some socks, for my birthday week, and I'm glad I did. 🥳

They are very soft and stretchy,
and extra comfortable, even on my unique feet. ☺️

They are from consciousstep.com
Cute, fun designs, nice colors, and as I said, the fabric is more flexible and comfortable than most socks.🤩

The company donates to some very good charities, that you can select between;
$1 per pair sold, and $3 per gift box of 3.

I bought myself a gift box of 3 different pairs, because it cost very little more than 2 individual pairs would have;

and after all, they are a gift! 😄

And the box they come in makes a nice presentation, too.

Amazon 12/24/2023 order was delivered yesterday. Canvas retail bags were quite robust and functional for just $3 each, so a useful buy I can well recommend.
What a fine, aesthetic, slim volume, modern hi tech weight scale appliance for just $22.
And am especially impressed by the modest cost $36, superbly engineered, aesthetic, soft, with wonderful deep sound, over the ear headphones.

Didn't spend any money today but there's a 6-gallon galvanized steel trash can in my Amazon cart. Why? For storing bird seed. The squirrels chewed their way through the Rubbermaid Tote. They can't chew their way through galvanized steel with a tight-fitting lid, can they?

A white framed picture... at the store

A glass mirrored wall decoration ( quite big).. at the store

Tall Chrome Table lamp ..at the store..

A door mat (just bought this online)

Duck feather & down pillows (pair)..online

A bunch of groceries £50.. just a few things really...:(

Just now ordered a heating element for our oven.I made a lasagna for Christmas and when I went to take it out of the oven after an hour it wasn`t even bubbling yet. Then it dawned on me that there was no blast of hot air when I opened the oven-it was just slightly warm. So a new heating element it is....if that`s not it,then it`ll be a new range....

We've had the heating element replaced 2-3 times since we had the oven in 1989. Way less expensive than buying a new oven, that's for sure. Hope you have similar luck with yours. 🤞

Did it. Spent money on the trash can for keeping bird seed from the squirrels. When I went back to Amazon to look at it again, there was a little tab to click on for a 20% discount. Sure. 20% is more than nothing, right?

When DD and I did the Walmarting this morning, I used my Kaiser Healthy Food card. It's $150 quarterly and went live this morning. Still have about $70 left on it. It won't last for the entire quarter, but it was nice not to have to pay real money today and have almost half of it left. Next time it's replenished is April 1. Imagine. April 1. After Easter, March 31 this year.
