What have you bought recently?

I had no idea such a thing existed, and I want one. I've just been on Amazon checking them out, but most of what I saw was propane; I want a corded one. Gonna ask Santa Claus🎅 to leave one under the tree🎄 for me this year.

Thanks for posting this!

Bought & rec'd 2 (in the ear) hearing aid kits. 2 were the 'pro' model @ $149.99, couldn't figure why I needed the upgrade to 2. 1 kit was $99 - 2nd was 50% off, total $149. Dawned on me that the charge only gave each kit 6 1/2 hours. So I could have 1 on and 1 charging, thereby having one ready in reserve to get a full day's supply. Sneaky!

used it for 1st time this afternoon....did the job brilliantly....recommend them.

I bought some new White trainers today... from Costco.. ( Puma)... I also got some Pale blue Slazenger online....

...and a spray Bottle of E45 Moisturiser.

I usually use Aveeno.. in a pump... but it's been annoying me that I can't reach my back with moisturiser, so I searched and found that both Aveeno and E45 do a Spray version, but E45 had better reviews as a spray and for absorption.. so that's what I got..

TBH I used it after my shower, and it's a little but runny.. so I won't buy that again...

@hollydolly Buy yourself a back scratcher and attach a facecloth. Apply lotion to a facecloth. "Scratch" your back with it.

I keep seeing things I want. I have credit cards. The issuers of these cards told me I could use x-amount of their dollars to buy things. If I use their card to get things I want, they send me a bill. What's that all about? They invited me to use their card and spend their money.

I could use my debit card, but then my checking account balance goes down.

And furthermore, what's this :poop: about being a guest in a store? Guest? Exactly who expects a guest to give them money?

Okay fellow shoppers, prepare to be impressed :)

I bought various toiletries, a nice hair grip claw thingamajig, nail files and cotton wool and it cost me not a penny! Yep, you heard that right! I had enough points on my loyalty card to pay for it plus a mighty £6.50 for my next daylight robbery adventure ;)

Goodness! At this rate, I shall soon be a VIP Super Shopper :D;)

Our biggest chain of department stores John Lewis go one better than that...not a guest but a ''partner''

Worn them for a few days now. Figured out the volume control along with adjusting the squeal. Had to replace the medium tips with the smaller set. Ears are not painful at all, great move getting the buds rather than the Behind The Ear (BTE) model. Everything is working good at this point, very satisfied.

I went to the grocery store to get some great buys on sale for the pantry etc. Got to the back in the meat department and the little guy that knows me nodded for me to follow. He was doing the meat mark downs for tomorrow, they mark things 50% off. I was able to pick up flank steak, filet mignon, fancy preformed burgers, breakfast sausage for the freezer.

I also got the sale items, 6 boxes of cereal for grandson, 4 bags of chips, gatorade for the son, wonderful grapes (.72 cents per pound) 5lbs potatoes for$1.77, 2 bags of snack carrots, 3 cases of my diet soda, 2 liter bottles for $1.00 each. The cereal brand name for $1.97 box, the chips (Ruffles) at $1.97 a bag. One loaf of fresh french bread for $1.99.

I was a hit at the checkout. Total came up at $180 but then my sale rewards kicked in and the total started to drop. The checker started laughing, saying still going down, still going down. Paid $100 at the end. Best bargain day I have had in a while.

It always makes me happy that if I shop well I can get nice things for my son's family.

I was in Florida for 8 weeks, so I drove down. My amplifier went out and I was going to replace it myself because I thought that since it sits behind the radio, (or as Buick calls it the “Infotainment” system), I could do it, but it has to be removed from under the dash and with my back being messed up it wasn’t going to be possible.

I had a Buick dealership in Florida replace the amplifier at a cost of $1200.

After much consultation with SWMBO and examining my Freelance Photography bank account - this morning I ordered a shiny new 24" iMac to replace my 27" 2017 model. Should be a lot faster and more capable of handling the large amounts of data and big files from the big events I photograph! Should be here in 5-8 working days!

Let us know how you get on with it... I have a 27inch Mac Desktop as well.. and they don't make them any more and this is going to be going home within the next couple of years if not sooner.. and not accept any more updates.. so I'll be looking for a new MAC then...

We went to Target. I spent $5.26 on cuticle remover. Then we stopped by the garden center where I got seeds for snapdragons, cosmos and zinnias and spent $6.96.

Cuticles don't need to be done yet, but Target had the cuticle remover, and it's hard to find.

The seeds will be probably be planted Friday. First I need to prep the area where this newest flower bed will be. The prep includes digging up some knockout roses that are dead or dying. I'm the only person I ever heard of who can kill knockout roses:rolleyes:.I can also kill aloe. Killing knockout roses and aloe are probably felonies!

I'm still on the fence (but resisting) about buying a cabinet that's one I've been looking for since forever. It has all the right dimensions for a spot in the kitchen where I'd like it to be. I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to see if I still want to spend the money. It's on sale for cheap...less than $50.
