What have you bought recently?

I've had a coffee pod type for years and it's 'ok'. Time to up the game :)
yes ..my daughter only ever buys the better quaity items for her home.. For example she has a a Smeg matching kettle and toaster.. which cost hundreds of pouds .... .. I would never pay that for a toaster & Kettle.. she has the top of the range dual Air fryer... mine is a just a single basket Cosori.. for less than £80... ..she can afford it, so she has what she wants...

All that said.. I've just upgraded my Airfryer to a Dual basket... which will arrive this week... but mine is still only a basic range...

@-Oy- Wow. That machine looks like I'd need an engineering degree to figure it out! I hope it turns out to be all you're hoping for.

DS has a complicated coffee maker, too. I just look at it and shake my head ;)

Guess what, kids...I'm not going to spend any money today. Well, wait. I wasn't going to, but then I fell down the Amazon rabbit hole and found this:
https://www.amazon.com/Metal-Garden...50239&sprefix=garden+hose,aps,266&sr=8-5&th=1

and I need it to get the last of the mess of gardening stuff up off the ground in my little protected corner behind the house.

So I guess I can spend $10 from the Flower Fund.

My fence panels were delivered this morning... and this afternoon on the way home, I collected my new Dual Basket Airfryer..

Now I don't necessarily need a new AF, mine is a single basket Cosori andd works brilliantly ... but I've always hankered after a Dual basket , but wouldn't pay £200 for one.. I've constantly searched for cheaper ones which on the face of it, look like they're good value but the deeper into the reviews I got, I found this wasn't the case. . I do wish people would wait longer than a few days before they review items... especially electric items...

Anyway this Dual AF came up on my feed from a Supermarket range and incredibly the price had veen slashed by £80.. yet I couldn't find one bad review about it.. so I've taken the plunge and bought it.. so fingers crossed.

I tell you what tho' it's incredibly heavy to lift, as I had to in and out of the car

I spent $40 on my Kaiser card for food this morning (so that doesn't count like real money), and spent another $30 on odd stuff like antiseptic ointment. That $30 was real money. Still a week until Rocking Chair Money is deposited and I have money left. Yay me. Usually whatever is leftover on RCM day gets put into the EF, but this time it might get spent on bedding plants because there are a few bare spots to fill up.

Soy candles are supposed to be safer to breathe in than other candles. I like light scents like that.
I have to be careful when buying them on Amazon because when I searched there for soy candles they also put regular candles on there. I bought one by mistake but at least it smelled good. Today when I bought one I made sure it said. Soy candle on it.

Yesterday I ordered something I've wanted for quite a while. Son's partner has one and it makes amazing coffee. I love coffee. I love amazing coffee! I'm looking forward to (with some practice) making amazing coffee! It's coming this afternoon!:coffee::coffee::coffee:

De'Longhi La Specialista Metal Barista Pump Espresso Machine, Bean to Cup Coffee and Cappuccino Maker.

I am happy to report that, after several failures and worries caused by a problem with the nut immediately in front of the machine...

I HAVE MADE AMAZING COFFEE!!!! (Sorry I've had three cups today and my eyes are a bit wiggly) o_Oo_Oo_O:coffee:

DD made me go to the garden centers again. She made me. You know how I hate going there, but I went along so that she wouldn't have to go alone because I'm considerate like that ;)

I got portulaca and yellow dwarf zinnias. They've been planted.

The Flower Fund is down to $35 from the original $500 I gave myself💸.

Wut wo. There are still flowers that I need that aren't in season quite yet. Pentas, spiderwort, lily of the Nile and two colors of sunpatiens. Two flats of pentas @$30 and two flats of sunpatiens @$30. The spiderwort? Um. Maybe I can settle for two. They're about $15 each. The lily of the Nile are around $20 each, and I need two.

Four pounds of raw shelled pumpkin seeds. Don't freeze well but keep a long time sealed and refrigerated. Good fats and complete protein balance.

Great in a salad along with pecan bits and dried cranberries.

Went a bit overboard with pantry items from cheese cloth, parchment paper to vinegars and threw a petticoat in for good meassure. Yes, one of those things to support a vintage ankle long Navajo silk velvet skirt. Time to go dancing!

OKC is somewhat of a food dessert. Very limited variety of grocery stores. Even Little Saigon has two stores - one soso and pricey and the other one close your eyes and go for the produce.

Amazon monthly repeat cart - 2 led small flashlights, laptop table - black, laptop - black, cords - black makes it impossible for me to see the usb port on the right & no place for lamp. Tilting laptop to see ports loosens & disconnects the usb hub, deactivating anything plugged in. Needed a pricier or better headset for streaming on laptop. 2 repeated items. 1 supply of supplements for wife & 1 for my hearing aid cleaning kit. Total for all $52.00. Stuff, stuff & more stuff.

I took a look at it. Was it really £90.00? Maybe that was the price based on my location.
Yes but, I should have said that I got it for £40 from a shop which was closing down.

We have a standard sized one but rarely use it. The Joseph one is very nice and well made but, to be honest, I wouldn't have paid the full price. :)
