What have you bought recently?

🤣First of all, even though the credit union pays interest on my checking balance, I don't keep a lot of $$ in it. So...DD and i did our long-overdue Walmarting when I got off work this morning. The list was so long that my checking balance is down to $5 and change!!! FIVE DOLLARS:oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:

Lucky for me that my paycheck gets deposited tonight.

And what did I buy? Nothing the remotest bit interesting: kitty food, kitty litter, other mundane stuff. And I forgot chocolate.

The cool lamp that I bought online over the weekend might be here as soon as today. Or maybe not until tomorrow. Or Friday. Maybe not even until Saturday. Drat. I want it Right. This. Minute. Time to break out my magic wand:ROFLMAO:

Oh. In case y'all wonder why I only keep a couple hundred dollars in the checking account when it pays interest...it's so I don't get tempted to fritter away money on foolishness like, yanno, a lamp. LOL

Not yet bought, but was planning groceries changes, as colder months coming up.

That Cowbells UHT semi-skimmed milk is the first one which has a lovely taste and texture. So, we'll be sticking on that.

Also, I need to get another batch of "Herbes de Provence", to refill our wee bottles. However, if buying a kilo worth to last till Spring next year. Here's the cost:

From TheRange store a 75g pack is £3.69. Dividing 1kilo by 75g and we'd need to spend £47.97 to acquire a kilo. NO WAY JOSE!!!

So, found a kilo bag of Herbes de Provence @ £13.95 with free delivery. Yup, that's a buy.

Later gang, dinner's ready, Caesar Salad with Cobb country bread. Strawberry/Mango smoothie for dessert. Mangiare!

The wire baskets that have been on the wall in our storage closet just decided to fall down on their own the other day. I don't want to have my son drill any more holes in the wall so I bought this, which should arrive tomorrow.

@Roadwarrior That Lifetime table will last you forever! They are virtually indestructible. We have Lifetime folding chairs and a Lifetime table that's in our studio that I use as a desk. It's about 18.75 X 28.5". Management also bought Lifetime tables for our laundry room.

@Supernatural The jewelry you bought is very pretty.

"Splendid Life" floral arrangement for my little sister's memorial service this Saturday.
I had no idea the price of floral arrangements had gone up so much these days.
But it's the last thing I'll ever buy my little sister and Cathy is oh yeah worth it.

I have just bought a Danoz H2Ox5 steamer so I can clean my tiles and steam clean the carpet in my 2 bedrooms. Hope it arrives in the next 2 days. Watched the ad. on t.v. and it looks like it will the job. Can also steam clean the windows and tiles in the bathroom and kitchen.
My new steam cleaner arrived when I wasn't home, now I have to go to the Post Office to pick it up. Looking very forward to using it.

A lightweight top for next summer, a small comb that will be recycled because it doesn’t go through my hair, and an almond danish. Grand total $11. Calories burned while walking to the shops, lots but offset by that darned danish. I’m tired tonight.

Well thank you @OneEyedDiva I've always looked at them but with the nickel allergy, I just couldn't. Now that's not a problem I'm fulfilling me silky teenage purchases 🤣🤣🤣

A new dress. If I lived in the US, it was a reasonable price on sale. By the time I paid for exchange, duties, shipping, etc, it was an extravagance. Wore it for the first time today. It just a plain black sleeveless cotton dress with pockets. I’d been searching all summer for something like this so I bit the bullet and bought it. I really thought I’d be paying extra to have it hemmed even though it’s a petite. No, it’s the perfect length. I’m happy.
