What have you bought recently?

Been Walmarting. It's spring break week for the schools in our county and even early, there were a gazillion people in the store with their kids. Glad that's over with for a couple of weeks. I didn't spend much but was going to use real money then discovered that we were at a no-cash self checkout after everything was scanned. Grrrr.

@Jules $27 for a pie? Oh. Em. Gee.

I was forced to part with $1.30 for a half gallon of milk this morning. I'd rather spend money on something I want, not something I need:mad:

Not sure if I mentioned buying a raspberry pie in a resort town a couple of days ago. We had it for supper tonight. Definitely not worth the price charged to tourists who are suckers (i.e. Me). $27. I won’t be fooled a second time. There were no price tags on anything.
Sounds delicious, though.

I must tell you!!!!! DH and I stopped at Wal-Mart to check plants. They had just marked down nice healthy plants! We got ten plants for $39 before tax. Two were big containers, one with red and white geraniums, one with beautiful light orange and yellow flowers. Two hanging bright orange New Guinea impatiens. Several other. It was being at the right place right time.
Things look colorful around here!

Blingy strappy summer sandals... and a Blue Tie/Dye 3/4 sleeve cheesecloth top.......at the garden centre clothing department...

Some bespoke chocolate from there also.... ..and then on the way home stopped at the supermarket for a few groceries...

My new summer sandals...

Just a light water-resistant zippered snap-cuffed windbreaker with a thin quilted lining. Went with a light slate color, I guess the old guy in me likes neutral colors now.

I dunno how others feel...but I hate this when older men start wearing everything grey... grey T-shirts- Grey hoodies.. grey jackets... who on earth suits the colour grey ?... no-one . aside from top models whose make-up is prepared to match the colour... no older guy whose got grey hair and pale skin fir sure.. yet men insist on wearing this colour... ... grey is a horrible colour IMO for clothes for older people...

I like gray! Wear it myself :) It depends on what colour shirt it's worn with.

Seriously? Is this a trap?

Yeah you need daylight and a photographer to avoid looking like somebody caught in a cop's flashlight beam.
It is a great picture. I like the color. I also have a lot of neutrals because it is easy to mix and match. I would also note you have very good skin. You could wear bright colors very well so don't limit yourself.

That's egregious for such a retailer not to take cash. Once in the early morning here, they announced it as people came through the door, so I knew. I just used my credit card.

Perhaps they don't have them clearly marked. At WINCO Foods, they have 1/2 cash, 1/2 card only self check out.
