What have you bought recently?

Despite having spent $40 on produce a couple of days ago, I needed other foods and staples, so Costco was on my list. $295 Eek.

DH needed some shorts and they were on sale... as was his preferred coffee (Peet's Major Dickason). Also needed tofu, a couple of bottles of CoQ10 (also on sale), TP, and other odds & ends. It sure adds up fast these days, doesn't it?
 

Since I don’t have enough readers lying around the house, I bought another pair. The Dollar store had a limited selection so I asked the clerk why. Too much theft. People were either walking off with them or changing tags. Thanks a lot thieves.

@Jules, mine were 12.99 the pair. I tasted the salt; I couldn't taste a difference. Like you, I love salt (I put it on ice cream) so years ago I bought Maldon salt but couldn't tell any difference.

As kids, one of my friends would walk around her yard with an apple in one hand and a salt shaker in the other.

same here..not necessarily with OTC specs, but I'm sure they go as well, but some supermarkets here have Red meat... butter, Cheese, and Baby milk, as well as Alcohol all with security tags on... because they're the most stolen items...

Do you smoke weed or is this for the shock value?
 
A slimline Brita for $10, that’s half price. I still had two filters left for my full-size Kirkland water dispenser and I was still using it. Then I remembered that Costco often just renames brandname products. They work in the new bottle. It’s a much nicer size.
