What have you bought recently?

Stopped at a roadside stand for parsnips and an Asian radish of some kind. I didn’t catch the name but sampled a small piece. The lady sits out there waiting for people to drive by. Stopped at another store for bread. Then on to the next one with much better prices for vegetables. I picked up several pounds and varieties of squash and apples. It was a fun day travelling around places we rarely go to.

I have bought a Vintage Leather bound copy of Strand Magazine stories from 1892

Strand magazine was the first place that Conan Doyle had his Sherlock Holmes stories printed. This one is Volume X.. july to december 1892

I have read every Conan Doyle story that was ever printed... so I know them, but I would love to own this vintage leather bound book...and now I am

As much on-line as possible, LOL. Today I bought:
- some small items I threw in the Amazon cart; don't need them right away so I'll wait until there's a few more things added.
- four tops from Coldwater Creek: love their high quality clothing although their summer colors are too bright for my taste.
- Thanksgiving eve delivery from a local bakery down the road: two sample paks of a variety of 4 different NY cheesecake minis and two boxes (a dozen each box) of chocolate brownies. Parking is a pain where they're located and I have a lot of last minute food assembly to do T-Eve, so delivery will be a lifesaver. Family is doing our usual potluck but we have more people than usual, so this was my extra contribution (especially as I don't like pumpkin pie!) in addition to the usual sushi I make.

Still loving it, so much cooler and no longer getting strangled when sleeping.
About 4 years ago I had my hair cut short.. in fact I've done it 3 or 4 times in my adult life.. and the freedom is fabulous... but the problem with it is I just don't suit short hair. if I did I would gladly have it cut short.. and live with it..

At night I tie my air up to sleep if I didn't..as you say it strangles ya.. or makes my back itch like mad..

Like I have said, if I had your locks I wouldn't cut, count your self as blassed!!

Coincidence, absent mindedness, or just plain spooky?

I ordered a battery charger for my radio batteries.
It arrived yesterday, I unwrapped it, and because I had to nip out, I opened the door of the understairs cupboard to put my parcel on the shelf. As I was pushing things along the shelf to make space for my parcel an item fell to the floor, I picked it up and discovered another (still boxed) battery charger, so now I have two. 😊

I was bad. I bought another gallon of Kirkland super premium vanilla ice cream from Costco. I also bought a case of Microban (fresh scent) from Ebay. Normally I would get it from Amazon, but they only have citrus in the cases of 6 now. For Deja, I got a case (24) of Fancy Feast tuna primavera, which has become her favorite.

On an Amazon search I found a product, Odoban, that was marked “not competitively priced”. There were several of the same item marked like that. I didn’t buy it. Will check in a store just to compare. I’ve never noticed anything like this.
@Jules , I used to buy Odoban at Walmart for the bathroom, but then got tired of the scent. (eucalyptus). It was cheaper than all the others at the time.
