Due to my age and health (notably stenosis of the spine) I'm numb from my knees down. I've had a few bad falls and become very cautious about venturing out with my 2 canes (instability). I also refused based upon advice from an othorpedic surgeon, the fact I had childhood polio, not to have any type of spinal surgery.. My chances of a full recovery or limited use would be near or at 0%.
I decided to purchase a walker to use, pride is not an issue at this point. Got it & assembled it yesterday. It was a lot heavier/stronger than thought, built & designed for a taller man, I'm 6'3''. It has a wider stance & 10' wheels, longer length to prevent accidental kickback. The reviews were very positive & accurate to meet my needs.
