What have you bought recently?

This is awful. Locally the two hospitals SO was in had nice cafeterias. Patient rooms had room service plus visitors. Menus were bistro type. Service was 15 minutes. Coffee stations on every floor. Even our family doctor has a coffee and drink bar. Child and adult diapers in the bathrooms.

no unfortunately this hospital where I had the assesment today, only has one very small Bistro type caffeteria.. on the ground floor..no drinks machines anywhere else in the Buidling.

It's not where I'll be having my operation tho'.... altho' that hospital isn't great either, it's also much further away from where I live .. . but it has a cafe and a coffee shop.. a shop ( store) to buy all sorts of thing you might need in hospital, including food... and that's about all there is there.. and that also is in the ground floor next to the main outside doors.. and most of the wards are on the 5th 6th 7th and 8th floor

Visitors are permitted all day after 12 noon... until 9pm ...food is horrible... but I won't be there very long hopefully

Comes complete except the car is an accessory. That's why I hesitated, I figured it should have come with Rosco's police car in hot pursuit, and Cooter's wrecker waiting on the other side of the bridge. :ROFLMAO:
 
Yesterday I made an out of the way stop at a speciality store to pick up a few items, one being a pie. I wasn’t careful and didn’t notice that they’d packaged a store made one (they use canned apples) in the same box as the specialty type. DH hates throwing away food but agreed that this has to go, it’s that bad. $15 down the drain.

wow, $15 for a pie made of canned fruit... I. would be furious!
 
Mumsy fell for another magazine add promising to shave 30 years off your face over night. I talked her down to Neutrogena for $30 instead. Exactly what she has been using for years. Occasionally she has a hissy fit that it makes her skin dry, oily, whatever or that she has never heard of it. Mom, please take a picture of what is in your bathroom and send it to me:>) Sis does not allow such frills so Cousin Amazon has to come to the rescue.
 
Yesterday I headed to one of my favorite haunts for my project house. They were SO helpful…let me rummage thru stacks and boxes of tile. They told me .75 per sq foot for whatever I took. Sooo…I spent 150$. Today went back with the truck…guys I worked with yesterday not to be seen. Tile cost more today…about 1.20 sq foot. So 400$ later…but I got great stuff…

I went out today and it was absolutely freezing so, I popped into a shop to have a browse and get warm before I went home. You know how they say that you should never go food shopping when you are hungry? Yep, I bought two very warm jumpers in a sale for half price. One for me and one for mum :) Of course I have winter woollies at home but, just looking at these two made me feel warm 😎

I got some great tile last year for .86sf! Tiled three bedrooms...was awesome deal!
 
I sold the last piece of office furntiure from what was Soon2Bex's home office... and they collected today....and after they left which was already 1.30pm.. the car was frozen solid with snow and ice.. I had to thaw that out, then take a drive to the shops 2 towns away...

I went to specifically to get a new ankle length lambs' leather coat, because it was 50 % off... what a bargain.. (y) . I haven't had a long leather coat since the 90's.. never thought I ould again.. but at the sale price it was too good to pass up..

I aso got a sleeveless wool polo neck tunic top, and a white 3/4 wide sleeve silk blouse..
