What have you bought recently?

My garage floor has been irritating me mildly for awhile now due to the cement dust it seems to constantly produce due to the pitting of the surface from years of melted salty snow over the years so I decided to go for a complete resurfacing using a 4-layer polyaspartic garage flooring system.

Now I'm in love with my new, dust free, garage floor!

Next is doing some patching and painting of the walls!

I did a little Amazon Prime Days shopping - including a pair of Sketchers hands free slip on sneakers. I don't own a single pair of comfy sneakers anymore. Finger crossed that they're comfy and fit well.

@StarSong

I've got 5 pairs of Skechers .. and, they are all I wear now. I used to wear Nike's, but, you can't bet Skechers for comfort.

Enjoy!

Well the Skechers arrived and are comfy. Slightly big but that can be solved with light socks. A half size down would be too snug, but I ordered a pair of those this morning, just in case.

I have a four hour nuclear cardiac stress test soon that will involve some treadmill time. I recently underwent a regular (10 minute) treadmill test. I wore Merrell clogs for it. They were the best of a group of inadequate choices in my closet, but I'd rather not repeat the mistake.

I'd been meaning to get some new athletic shoes for a while and the upcoming test motivated me into action.

JMO.. top is a tube top.. a blouse has buttons... a shirt is denim or flannel :)
@Llynn: To me, top is any kind of blouse, shirt, tee, tank, short tunic, etc. that covers the upper body but isn't as long as a dress. Even pajamas have tops. "Top" inplies that a "bottom" will be paired with it.
That's also the general apparel industry definition of tops, at least in the US.

Blouses tend to be less structured than shirts. They have softer collars, drapier fabrics, and softer plackets.

Shirts almost always have front plackets with buttons and structured collars.

So.....any upper body garment can be a top but not every top can be a shirt or blouse. As with most things, guys keep it less complicated. Every garment from a "wife beater" to a formal tux shirt is just a shirt.

I know, there are lots of other names for what men wear too but that doesn't support my efforts to establish myself as SF's official grumpy old geezer.

I hope it goes as well for you as it has for me. I bought a Yonique brand bathing suit a couple of years ago on AZ and LOVED it so much I waited for it to go on sale again and bought two more in different patterns. Full support bra top, boy shorts and a coordinating loose tank top that doesn't float up in the water.

I wear all three pieces, even in my own pool. Despite being in pretty good shape and a weight in the low end of a healthy BMI, I'm well past the age of publicly baring my stomach or wearing high cut bikini bottoms. (I love the boy short look.)

I bought one similar two years ago on Anazon. I don't use it as often as you but I like it!

I picked up a couple air purifiers during the Prime frenzy.
Got some of those Korean products KSav spoke of, too.
So far, so good…on both counts😎
I just bought a purifier last week. I've had allergies, asthma, and sinus issues since February. They are much better now, but my doctor gave me prednisone for the asthma, and antibiotics for the sinus condition, but I still went all out and bought the highest rated air purifier in Consumer Reports. So I don't know what makes my condition better. I just decided to load up on precautions, because whatever I had was taking a toll. I lost 10 pounds, without even dieting as I just kept getting weaker and weaker. I suspect it may have been from my dog. He turned three and his coat got courser and heavier so the dander issue made me suspicious.

Got three new solar LED windchimes on Amazon prime days. One is to replace the watering can with cascading lights that I killed last year. Well, not exactly killed but on life support until just two months ago. I'll be more careful with the new one. They're supposed to be here today, and I'm so excited. It's the little things...:)

They look like these

I'm pretty excited about these, too. I'm glad you shop so I don't have to.

What tickles me most about them (besides the cats themselves) is the copy writers word salad:
"Cat Solar Wind Chimes for Outside - AIONASA Color Changing LED Solar Hanging Lights Outdoor, Waterproof Windchimes Outdoors Hanging Gifts for Mom Grandma Women, Home Garden Patio Yard Porch Decoration"

Well now i’m jealous, i sure haven’t lost 10 pounds!
Seriously tho sure hope you continue to feel better & better…allergies/asthma/sinus all at the same time sounds like pure misery.
I also think dander may be the culprit in my house, cat dander in my case. Knock on wood but i’ve had the new purifiers running for almost two full days now & this morning haven’t reached for the box of tissues yet. Rome wasn’t built in a day but hope is building😉

Don't be. I don't recommend this method for losing weight. Even though I could afford to lose 10 pounds, and in 4 days after I started meds, I gained 5 pounds back. Haven't looked at the scale since then. I think part of it was dehydration, because I experienced a bit of confusion on the way home from the doctor, which is untypical for me. Lose weight some other way.

This morning I rescued four Obedient plants from the "Clarence" racks at the garden center. Poor things were so bad off that if I hadn't bought them, they'd have had to have the last rites.

When I got them home, I cut them way back, put them in a bucket, filled it up with water and let them get soaked through for about an hour before planting them. If the lord's willing and the creeks don't rise (as we used to say in Texas), they'll be okay.

They're perennials and part of my plan for next year's garden. After all, it's never too soon to make a plan, right? Or, as my daddy used to say, hatch a plot ;).

Wired keyboard & wired mouse. Battery went dead on my wireless keyboard after 3 months. Decided I was weaned on a desktop for many years before getting a laptop. Bought an All-In-One a few months back & put in one AAA battery for wireless KB. Since the latest battery fiasco I figured I could get by using a wired KB & mouse to prevent that happening again. $13.99 from Amazon. Hate the touchpad with an undying passion so will get back to old school methods.
